The three ingredients of a powerful SUP stroke- Stand Up Paddleboard technique
Efficiently apply more power to your strokes to go faster for longer distances by combining the three ingredients of a powerful Stand Up Paddleboard stroke:
PUSH with the top hand for quick acceleration
TWIST from your hips and shoulders to engage the core,

transcript:
fun on the water brought to you by blue planet aloha it's robert with blue planet surf in today's video i'm going to talk about the three ingredients of a powerful stroke
so the first ingredient is a push with your top hand this is a great way to accelerate quickly and just pushing forward with your top hand using your bottom hand as a fulcrum and you're just pushing forward with your front hand this is a great stroke for accelerating just getting quick strokes in nice for catching waves and so on second ingredient is the twist winding up your body like a spring and then unwinding it during your stroke so this is a good way to engage your bigger muscle groups for longer distances and long paddles
so finally the third ingredient is leaning onto your it's basically pushing down with your top hand on the top handle and leaning into your stroke so basically you want to lean forward push your paddle down and then stand up straight at the end of your stroke
so by combining these three ingredients you'll be able to paddle longer faster and harder so thanks for watching see you on the water aloha
